WELCOME TO CLASS 204!

  • Students have created Math Story Houses on Odd and Even Street!  Our Math focused on odd and even numbers, how we can identify and differentiate between them.  The Math Problems created by 204 were outstanding! 

  • Array-zing City!
    Class 204 has been learning all about arrays in Math!  Students have used their knowledge to create an Array-zing City with math stories, arrays, and detailed explanations using math language.

  • Oh the Places You'll Go Around PS 163.. How to Get there!!

    Class 204 has been working really hard on their How-To Directions!!  Each student chose a place in the school special to them that they explained how to get to from our classroom using sequencing and direction words.  

  • Follow the Road to our Opinions!

    Class 204 has been writing opinion letters!!  They are working hard to persuade us of the best subjects, food and so much more!!Let us know if they persuade you!

  • Blossoming Book Reviews

    Class 204 has read many books in Wonders.  It was now time to use their knowledge on the books and their opinions to critique these stories.  We loved every genre!

  • Word on the Street is...

    Word on the Street is that 204 has done some pretty great writing this year and all of our hard work really shines!!  Our final bulletin board is our Fictional Narratives!  We took the knowledge that we had on story mapping from reading and using our creativity we each wrote a story that had a beginning, a problem in the middle and a solution in the end.

Welcome Letter

Dear Parents,

We are so excited to be welcoming you to a great new school year.  2017-2018 has many fun-filled learning experiences in store!

In the Resources section we have listed educational games that the students can play online to support their learning in class as well as a page that homework will sometimes be assigned on.  The Wonders Login aligns with what we are learning in class as we use the Wonders curriculum for ELA.  When homework is assigned online we will write it in their agendas and keep the usernames and passwords in their agendas so that they may log in and practice the assigned homework.  A letter will be sent home explaining this digital component to our curriculum.  We also will be using the kidsa-z app for leveled reading and science support. Usernames and passwords have been sent home for this resource.
