PS163 Transitional Bilingual Kindergarten Guidelines

 

Morning drop off

• 8:15am (Doors open at 8:13am) – Exit 3 -59^th Ave; near 160^th Street side.
• Breakfast starts at 7:30am, free – enter from 160^th St, by the school yard
• Kiss and goodbye

 

Dismissal

• 2:25pm
• Exit 5 (school yard)
• Please be on time.
• Your child have to identify the pick-up person.
• If there’s any changes for dismissal, call the main office (718-353-2514) or leave notes in home folder (Yellow Folder). (Please do not send emails.)

 

All money has to be in closed envelopes with child’s name and purpose of payment noted (example, lunch, trip, book orders, etc). EXACT change or checks only. Change will not be provided.

Bring to school every day: (logo: yellow triangle)

 

1. Yellow Home folder (for school notices, return slips, money, notes from parents, etc.) – Please check and empty every night.

       2. English Book Baggies (contain 5 books borrowed from the class library; swap weekly)

 

No toys, electronic games, or anything “extra” are allowed in school. School will not be responsible for any loss of these items.

Family survey – please fill them out ASAP and return in yellow folder.

 

Kindergarten Lunch: 11:00am-11:50am

 

Working Snack (around 1:15pm):

• Snack is optional.

一六三小學幼稚園過渡性雙語班注意事項

 

上學：

－8:15分 (8：13開門) 出口3 - 59^th Ave; 靠近 160^th Street這一邊.

－免費早餐開始時間是7：30 – 從160th St 操場邊進去

－學生和家長再見，家長不允許進去教學樓

 

放學：

－時間為2:25pm

－在出口5（操場）

－請準時來

－學生要可以指認並說出接自己的家長(或家人/朋友)

－如果學生有任何關於放學方式的變動，請給學校辦公室打電話 （718-353-2514）或者提前給老師的家庭聯絡文件夾（黃色文件夾）寫紙條通知老師。（請不要發郵件）

 

如果學生需要繳錢給老師（比如：午餐，課外旅行，買書等），請家長務必把零錢放在密封的信封裡並放入正好的數額，學校不提供找零。

 

每天都要帶來學校的東西（黃色三角形的圖案）：

1. 家長每天晚上都需要檢查學生的黃色家庭聯絡文件夾。裡面會有學校的通知，返還單，錢，家長的紙條等。

 

2. 英語閱讀書袋（學生每週都可以從教室借出5本英文書，每週交回並更換新書）。

 

學校不允許學生帶任何玩具，電子用品或者家裡的遊戲來學校。如有丟失，學習不予負責。
